NAME wnrnd -- random numbers SYNOPSIS #include "wnrnd.h" void wn_seed_random_number_generator(int seed) int wn_random_int(void) int wn_random_int_func(void) unsigned int wn_random_mod_int(unsigned int mod) int wn_random_n_bits(int n) int wn_random_bit(void) DESCRIPTION These routines generate pseudo-random numbers. wn_random_int() produces an int of 32 independent random bits. wn_random_int() may be a macro or a function. wn_random_int_func() has exactly the same behavior as wn_random_int(), except that it is guaranteed to be a function and not a macro. "wn_seed_random_number_generator" seeds using "seed". If it is not called, the state starts out as though it has been called with seed 0. For true random numbers, as opposed to pseudo-random numbers, see wnrndt. BUGS SEE ALSO wnrndd, wnrndt AUTHOR Will Naylor
